I love animation!
Currently I'm working my way up from bad flipaclip phone animations (like the tik toks below) to more showable work.

And while I don't have access to more expensive programs, I am working on leaning Blender's Grease Pencil and doing my best with ClipStudio's 20 frames in the pro version.

Charon

In Charon, you play a deceased soul, that wants to find Charon to cross over fully to the other side.

You start out with all you will need. One coin of gold to pay Charon.
Through fighting other Souls, you can collect more coin but be warned, your actions have consequences.

There's three different endings aka three different ways to play!

The Game was coded in Lua and uses the Fantasy game engine Pico 8.
You can play the game in browser, and see the whole code on:

VAG Mock-Up

The Mockup was intended as a potential redesign with some new features like a counter to see how long until your ticket expires.

VAG is already branded in red, so the idea was to use red as the highlight color, and use a less agressive more "eco" looking one for the majority of the layout.

You can "use" and navigate the mockup on:

Harvest Gods
Franken Game Jam

Harvest Gods is a Farming Puzzle Adventure based on a Tile Matching Mechanic.

To lure Gods into blessing you with their powers, you have to present them with the right foods.

The fun lies with the plants' synergies. Depending on what grows next to each other, the plants will evolve differently.

Since this was a Game Jam Project, a lot of the work was split between the jammers.

I did the backgrounds and UI elements on my own, color adjusted the plant designs, and worked with another artist on the Game mechanics, concepts and synergies.

Pix A Sketch

This one is a parody on the popular Etch A Sketch.

A kid's toy that lets you draw on a board by twisting one nub for up and down and one nub for left and right.

It is a pretty infuriating device.

Limitations are fun as well though, so I tried to make the worst, still usable drawing program I could, based on it.

You can change brush size and paint color, and apply the paint by using your arrow keys!

Both the game and the code are on:
